The Team
Blackhawk has been involved in mission’s trips with Casas por Cristo (follow link below for more information) since 1997. Casas por Cristo serves as a ministry link between churches and teams in the United States seeking to become involved in cross-cultural missions and the churches in Juarez, Mexico providing for the spiritual and physical needs of the people in this community.
This year our team will be involved in the construction of a house in Juarez, Mexico, which is located immediately adjacent to El Paso, Texas. The city of Juarez is typical of many large cities in poverty stricken countries, having a very large population, an enormous homeless rate, and a high crime rate.
We hope to represent Christ in this community and help show his love by providing for the needs of His people and at the same time allow God to change our hearts in the process!
